Durabella DesignADeck design, manufacture and supply acoustic and timber raised flooring in a manner that supports sustainable construction and lessens the environmental impact of our business.
We are committed to reusing and recycling. Durabella acoustic rubber pads are manufactured from 100% recycled rubber. Durabella cradle components are manufactured using up to 50% recycled plastic. This prevents thousands of tons of used rubber and plastic ending up in landfill. The wooden components (battens and overlay boards) are made from traceable and sustainable sources of timber, where requested, and we are FSC and Soil Association certified.
Using the Durabella cradle and batten system eliminates the need for screeding which reduces CO2 emissions and results in a lower carbon footprint in the construction. Durabella flooring systems can also incorporate under floor heating systems which supports the energy efficiency of the project.
We endeavour to reduce waste and our CO2 footprint, working closely with you to ensure that the materials we supply are of high quality and
meet your needs without excess wastage. We have even recently designed a CO2 neutral raised flooring system using bamboo.
Durabella has been certified in accordance with the requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council® using the FSC® Chain of Custody standards. Our Certificate Registration is SA-COC-005526.
